AccessESP Retrievable ESP System
Slickline retrievable ESP system that can be used in brownfield and greenfield applications
We believe our AccessESP Retrievable ESP System (ARES) will add millions of dollars NPV for to our customer's wells by delivering unmatched production performance. We are confident that by eliminating the need for heavy ESP workover interventions, we can help your team reduce risk and, if intervention is required over life of well, lower total cost of operations, therefore increasing operating cash flow.
Our system is not only an alternative method to deploy Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems, it also changes the way that customers manage their ESP fleet. The status quo for ESP lift worldwide is to deploy ESPs on production tubing with ‘run to failure’ being the standard mode of operation. Therefore, the focus for customers is often to manage ESP performance with the primary concern to avoid pre-mature failure.
Using ARES, and the retrievability it brings, the mode of operation becomes delivering the technical limit of ESP performance. Our permanent completion assembly, the docking station for the ESP, incorporating our award winning UpCable power delivery system, is designed for life of well. Many of the features that exist in a conventional tubing deployed ESP cable system that cause ‘infant failures’ have been eliminated with UpCable contributing to failure free global performance over seven years+ of operation for the permanent completion assembly as a whole.
Moreover, the low cost nature of a retrievable ESP workover means that many customers retrieve the system for other reasons than ESP change out. This could be to carry out operations below the pump setting depth with full bore access, optimize the pump and/or motor for changing well conditions, to name a few of many reasons why customers choose to use the flexibility that ARES brings.
