Smart sensor system for measuring directly on the rotor blade surface
Safe and highly available | Ice detection, Temperature measurement & more
Eologix focuses on rotor blade monitoring with innovative sensor systems for ice detection, temperature measurement, pitch angle monitoring and more – directly measuring on the blade surface to increase performance and extend the service life of your wind turbines.
Eologix sensor technoloy gmbh was founded in 2014 by Michael Moser, Thomas Schlegl and Hubert Zangl after an incubation phase in the Science Park Graz. In winter 2014/2015, the first sensor system was already in commercial use. The patented and DNV-certified solution is mounted directly on the blade surface, making the system solutions suitable for both new installations or easy retrofitting.
By the end of 2021, over 500 systems were already in use worldwide, helping wind turbine operators and manufactures to reduce downtimes and use wind energy more efficiently. Since 2016, we have also been the market leader for ice detection systems on wind turbines in Austria.
At our headquarter in Graz, we develop and manufacture the sensor components for our unique systems with a motivated, dedicated team of more than 25 people. With our innovative sensor solutions, we create sustainable values for our customers and the environment.
